ACCOUNTING Analyst

  • Interface with Treasury Sales, Operations, Asset Liability Management and Finance Team ensuring accuracy and completeness of trade transactions capture in the system
  • Monitor journal entries in the system - perform daily monitoring of trade transactions in coordination with Finance Team
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of sub ledger and general ledger balances in coordination with Finance Team
  • Perform systems closing activities (e.g. End of Day, End of Year)
  • Identify manual and system controls, including process improvement vis-à-vis new system (Wealth Management System)
  • Identify and develop Accounting or Financial reports using Business Intelligence Publisher (BIP) in Wealth Management System
  • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer on compliance reviews related to Finance and Accounting internal policies and procedures
  • Assist the Chief Compliance Officer in updating the Finance Module Manual
  • Prepare regular compliance and other ad-hoc reports



Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years working experience in the Financial Institution, preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Familiarity with working with Wealth Management or Financial systems or applications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills (English)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Highly self-motivated
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college preferably in Finance or Accounting
  • Certified Public Accountant preferred
